BME has planned to design and build a ZON C fishing trawler since the year 2021. Our team constantly conducts market research and works with fishermen to understand their needs in order to design a fishing trawler that meets their requirements. However, we are glad that our GA Plan has been approved by the Department of Fishery Malaysia on 19 November 2021 and 15 July 2022.
BME laid the keel on the 1st of May 2022 and finally the vessel is launched on 24 October 2022. We are proud to announce that we have completed a fishing trawler in just 5 months.
